First. let me say I am not selling anything here, I am just sharing information that I came across, ALL FREE and all that I have found INVALUABLE as tools in the business of Affiliate Marketing.

WHAT MOST INTERNET GURUS WON'T TELL YOU

The people who have been successful in the affiliate marketing business are often referred to as Internet Gurus, and they publish millions of sites on the "how tos" of Affiliate Marketing with slogans such as "make millions while you sleep" and "become a millionaire by working 20 minutes a day."These slogans are a sales pitch to get you to buy an e-book or some form of instructional material on Affiliate Marketing. I was never convinced.

In my endless research into the subject I have come across these adverts countless times, and the price range for this information ranges from $39 to as high as $299. I have never had the guts to actually submit and order anything. I just always felt that it lacked credibility, mainly because it was very hard to believe these extreme slogans.

So I continued my research and I actually came across a guru's website where he asks that you enter your email address and FREE information will be sent with instructions on Affiliate Marketing (I won't mention his name, but he is VERY well known). Well I received the information. He sent me 15 page report, that I read and reread and read again, and after three times I had no clue WHAT he was talking about. It was so badly written, so in-concise and so convoluted with irrelevant topics that I flagged him as spam in my email settings. It was then I realized that not only should the information be realistic and therefore credible, it should also be user friendly.

And if the information is not presented in a teachable manner there is no way anyone can succeed. There are also realities of this business that are crucial to understand, such as the fact that it takes an enormous amount of work to succeed in Affiliate Marketing, this is what the "make millions overnight" gurus don't usually tell you. The competition on the Internet is huge, success may not come for weeks, months or even years.

Don't get me wrong Affiliate Marketing is, has been and I think always will be a highly profitable online business.

With the astronomically high numbers of people surfing the net for information, shopping, socializing etc... the possibilities are endless. And, there are those who are making "millions while they sleep" but those have put in a mountain of work to get there, it NEVER happened overnight. And it will NEVER HAPPEN unless you have the right teacher, the right tools and support from those who have done it and succeed.
